Late Vasantdada Polytechnic was established in August 1990 vide Directorate of Technical Education letter No. 2/NGP/ 1090, Dated 20th August 1990. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.), New Delhi. The Diploma Courses run by the Institution are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (M.S.B.T.E.), Mumbai.
